10 Simple Steps Towards a Zero Waste Home!
Join Susan Gentilcore of All Things Preserved for an evening of earth-friendly learning and making!
We all want to make changes to reduce waste in our lives, but sometimes we just don’t know where to begin. This fun, interactive and hands-on event is a great place to start. We’ll discuss 10 easy, low or no-cost changes we can all make in our daily lives to reduce waste, save money and help the environment. The focus will be on creative ways to replace single-use paper and plastic household products for the whole family. End the night by taking part in a make-and-take zero waste activity, and take home some up-cycled sustainable product samples.
All ages welcome! $25 plus HST, includes a make-and-take project Maximum 8 participants. ALL MATERIALS PROVIDED. **We have implemented COVID-19 safety protocols within our building and in our workshop spaces. Work stations are 6 feet apart, masks must be worn. For more information about our workshop safety procedures, please click here.

Due to COVID restrictions and the compromised immune systems of some of our participants, they are not able to engage in road trips and come visit our facility at the Elora Centre for the Arts for phase one of this program. The good news is, if they can't come to us (for now) - we will go to them! We take our art instructors, staff and art supplies 'on the road' to Guelph and run the program twice a week at the Live & Learn day-facility!
