Make Your Own Beeswax Wraps
October 1, 2020 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm
$50.00Thursday October 1, 2020 | 7 – 9 PM
Start your earth-friendly journey and spend a couple of hours to make your own beeswax food wraps and reduce one-time plastic use! Kick the single-use disposable habit with homemade beeswax wraps – a great alternative to plastic wrap. You can use them to cover food and keep it fresh; veggies, cheeses, sandwiches, baked goods and snacks. They’re reusable dozens and dozens of times and can easily be refreshed at home if the wax starts to wear.
Intended for anyone who wishes to embrace more positive ways to live on this earth, in this workshop you’ll design your own fabric to use in the making of your beeswax food wraps and beeswax snack bags. The conversation will flow as we discuss other habits to help increase our waste awareness. Take home your finished wraps at the end of the workshop and start putting them to use right away!
