Join us for a morning of mini-making, story time and indoor and outdoor play for our youngest artists in our sunny studio classroom and under our big top canopy tent situated in the ECFTA large and lush yard! This 3-day morning camp will be a great way to ease into the summer after a long school year! Projects will include; eye spy flashlight in a bag, blue jay garden sticks, “no-peeking” sketching, animal shadow drawing, cloud telescopes and more!

Recycle, Upcycle and Go Green this July as we gather together in our cheery studio classroom and out in the great outdoors for fresh-air creativity and fun designed to bring out the Friend of the Planet in you! Each day will be filled with eco-inspired creativity. Make a recycled jean bag with blanket stitching, upcycled T shirts, story stones, nature crafting and free-range play perfect for a hot July week!
Led by artist and educator Carolyn McLeod of Creative Spark Workshops in Guelph with the support of student leaders from the Canada Summer Jobs Youth Program.

We will fluff our friendship feathers and sharpen our art-making talons as we explore the aerial world of all things feathered and plumed.
Projects will include songbird marionettes, owl pastel, feather calligraphy pens, paper feather lanterns, crane sculpture and more!

This camp is designed to bring out the musician + artist in you! Don’t worry about knowing your way around a melody. By the end of the week, musician and educator Carolyn McLeod will have you playing a tune and creating some harmonious art to accompany it!
Let music inspire your choice of colours & style for a musical painting, learn to write an original song and then add a melody & beat, explore ways to make music with every-day objects, create a box drum and rubber band guitar, experiment with water glass chimes, and art-up your own unique instruments. Who said music theory was boring? Not us!

Supportive Arts Program for Young Adults with (dis)Abilities – Fall 2022 to Spring 2023
SUPPORTIVE ARTS is a unique program supported by the Ontario Trillium Foundation, offering arts-based learning opportunities and compelling artistic experiences to individuals with (dis)abilities living in the community. We welcome adults and caregivers from Wellington County and the surrounding areas to our weekly program. Led by ECFTA Arts Educators and Mindfulness Coaches. The Supportive Arts program has now expanded to 4 sessions per week.
THE PROGRAM: Join us for a guided 2-hour workshop, specifically designed to support adults of all abilities. Each session, we will embrace diversity and friendship through explorations in art making, movement, mindfulness and music. Every week is as unique as each of our participants! Supportive Arts is offered free of charge to all participants and support companions, thanks to the generous support from the Ontario Trillium Foundation.

Young Makers! Join Cecilia Cheng from Fringed Elora and come make a fun, whimsical feather wall hanging! Perfect for beginners, ages 8 and up will learn how to use one of the most common macrame knots to make feathers.Cecelia will offer techniques for incorporating different colours, beads, and how to use household items as useful macrame tools.
A variety of colours of cotton macrame string will be available for kids to personalize their feathers. This workshop will encourage everyone to think creatively, develop fine motor skills and patience in learning a new skill! No experience necessary!
