The TUTU in You… Sewing off the Edge!

An event every week that begins at 4:00pm on Tuesday, repeating until June 20, 2017

Textile arts group that uses recycled materials, found objects and donated items to create wearable art and infinitely more. The young artists are encouraged to explore the materials and tools in the studio to spark their imagination and create individual and group projects together. The “Tutu-ers” are renowned for their collaboration at local events and strive to make Community Art accessible to all.

Circus Summer Camp

Youth Circus Project

Run away with the circus this summer for a fun-filled week of creativity and self-expression. Each day will feature a variety of skills training, circus crafts, and mini performances. Slackline, stilt-walking, juggling, acrobatics, theatrical clowning and so much more! This camp is designed to help young people build confidence and develop their physical literacy under the guidance of professionally trained circus artists from the Youth Circus Project.

Canadian Art, Eh?

A hands-on introduction to the vibrant world of Canadian art through an exploration of three of our most celebrated visual artist: Emily Carr (Tuesday August 15), Maud Lewis (Wednesday August 16), and Lawren Harris (Thursday August 17.) Children will learn the fundamentals of drawing and painting, colour and composition while creating their own masterpieces inspired by the styles and techniques of these cultural icons.
