March Madness: Experimenting with Science & Art March Break Camp

9AM – 4PM. Maximum 25 kids. $250 for the week.
Release the mad scientist in you and recharge your imagination in this week of S.T.E.A.M-inspired learning and art making! We’ll start off each morning with science-based experiments lead by our professional scientist from Mad Science. The exploration continues each afternoon as we springboard into 5 science-inspired artFULL projects with ECFTA instructors that will get both sides of your brain fired up!
Science and art experiments and projects include the Mystery of Air Under Pressure, “Inventionation” featuring Leonardo Da Vinci and other great inventors, the Secrets of Spies and creating with invisible ink, Walloping Weather Wierdness and Optical Illusions with light!
Crank up your cranium for an awesome week of March Madness, with a Mad Science Scientist and ECFTA art instructors lead by Judy Anderson.
This March Break camp is part of our S.T.E.A.M programming for kids: a way to build important life skills like taking risks, finding joy in imperfection, developing problem-solving skills, exploring the creativity found in all things – and practising the invaluable skills that only art can provide to science, technology, engineering and math.
FREE Forge Demonstration in the Yard

Are you interested in seeing a bit more about how artist blacksmiths master the forge and create objects out of metal? Are you hooked on the TV show “Forged in Fire” and want to learn a bit more first-hand? Do you think your kids would think it’s totally cool to see what fire can do? Come on out to the Elora Centre for the Arts for a live forge demonstration in our yard! Drop in anytime between 10 AM – 3PM, demonstrations are happening ongoing.

April Art Incubator PD Day Camp

This PD day is STEAM-powered! Join us for a futuristic, crazier than SciFi day of combining science experimenting with art exploration! Let’s discover the similarities found in science and art, and see how much fun it is when you combine them both together. Lead by Mad Scientists and ECFTA Art Educators.
What on Earth!? The Art & Science of Nature – Summer Camp

Release the Mad Scientist in you and recharge your imagination in this week-long camp of STEAM-inspired messy exploration! We’ll start each day in our Discovery lab classroom with mind-boggling experiments about earth, nature and it’s fascinating creatures! In the afternoons we will fuel our imaginations outside with nature-inspired “get messy” art projects. Lead by Mad Scientists and ECFTA Art Educators.
Summer Circus Camp

Come experience the magic of the Circus at our week-long camp, with Youth Circus Project! Juggling, spinning plates, acrobatics, clowning and more! Build confidence, learn new skills and have fun, while expanding your idea of what’s possible – it truly is magic in action.
Up, Up and Away! Half Day Summer Camp

9 AM – 12 PM. Ages 4 – 6 only. Max. 25. $130 per week.
Join us for this half-day, week-long mini camp designed especially for our youngest art makers and shakers! Each day will begin with story time, followed by art making inspired by the great beyond and an outdoor adventure.
Sky’s the Limit! Summer Camp

We’ll be on CLOUD 9 this week and heading for the stars in this camp full of art-making, sparked by the heavens above. We’ll get creative with cumulonimbus clouds, starry exosphere, the solar system and beyond! Instructed by ECFTA art educators, lead by Judy Anderson.
