Welcome to the Elora Nature Journaling group for homeschooling families!

This is a registration required, in person group which meets bi-weekly at the Elora Centre for the Arts, open to homeschooling students between the ages of 6 and 10 who reside in Wellington County and are currently participating in any style of homeschooling.

The first meeting will be Tuesday, September 13th 2022 at 10 AM-12 PM. There will be a total of 7 sessions, running until Tuesday, December 6th, 2022.

This is not a drop off program. One parent or guardian must attend for each participating family. Accompanying adults are encouraged to bring their own journal and participate alongside their registered student(s).

The cost per session is $5 a child.  The total fee per child of $35 can be paid upon registration, or payment options can be discussed privately upon registration. The fee will go towards covering the cost of the room rental and the use of basic art supplies.

Suggested supplies for participants to bring include:

• a watercolour safe journal
• any favourite watercolour painting supplies from home
• refillable water bottle
• nut-free snack
• weather appropriate clothing for time outdoors

Student grade watercolours and art supplies will be made available in the class.

Nature journals can be made available at the first class for an additional fee.
