Through The Window begins a series of exhibitions exploring the notion of the public and private, inside and outside, intimate and external.
Soft Turns (Sarah Jane Gorlitz and Wojciech Olejnik) have been working collaboratively since 2006. Their work accesses the evolving dichotomies between the foreign and the familiar. Using common materials, the artists create models which are used in their stop-motion and video installations.
Soft Turns have exhibited across Canada and internationally. Upcoming exhibitions include Skånes Konstförening (Malmö, Sweden), Greusslich Contemporary (Berlin Germany) and the 18th International Contemporary Art Festival SESC_Videobrasil (São Paulo, Brazil).
