Join us for a day filled with demos of Encaustic & Acrylic Mixed Media with 3 local artists, Nancy Ariss, Terry Gregg & Karen Fisher in their studio space.
Create your own 3 x 3 painting to take home using collage items materials, acrylic paints & hot wax.
Enjoy background music, studio vibes & light refreshments whilst finding inspiration to create your little masterpiece.

This Summer, we will have 9 weeks of Summer Art Making led by ECFTA Arts Educators between July 2 & August 29!
XX camp weeks for young artists age 6-12, and 2 camps week for ages 4-6.
Camps will run from 9 am – 4 pm, excluding holidays.
At the Elora Centre for the Arts, we strive to support ALL children who would like to attend our summer camps. If your child could benefit from a one-on-one companion through the Supporting Kids in Camp program, please visit cmhaww.ca The CMHA Waterloo Wellington provides trained and experienced Support Counsellors, so all children can benefit from participating in community camps. There is no cost to families for this program!

Join artist Ahmri Vandeborne from Otherwise Studios in this easy-going introduction to sewing!
Using ready-made stencils of a bird, tree, or flower, or designing your own template, learn basic sewing techniques to create a stuffed felt home decor piece! Participants will gain the knowledge of simple embroidery stitches to embellish their work and will go home with a unique, handcrafted piece to hang up at home for all to enjoy.

Let’s celebrate women in the arts! The female artists who create, the women who inspire artists to create, the women in our community who need inspiration from other creative women! An afternoon to engage, encourage and express ourselves together.
This curated group exhibition in the gallery at the Elora Centre for the Arts, will feature paintings, photography, mixed media, textiles and sculpture – all in celebration of the female form, positivity, and strength.
