Exploring notions of the land within their own right, each of these artists uses materiality and the creative process to mediate the conventions of the landscape.

Colin Carney employs digital photography, video and manual printmaking in order to explore the urban landscape. Linda Risacher-Copp breaks down the landscape into a series of indirect steps through a wax resist process. Barry McCarthy layers saturated colours to create illusionistic spaces working within the traditions of watercolour and oil painting. Alex McLeod sets up the illusion through digital prints creating sensuous, imagined and surreal worlds.
