  • Meet & Greet with Stu Oxley: Artist Reception & Exhibition Opening Event

Elora Centre for the Arts 75 Melville Street, Elora, Ontario, Canada

Join us for an afternoon of art and conversation at a special Artist Reception with Stu Oxley!

Be among the first to experience Between Silence and Gesture, a striking new exhibition of large-scale paintings and monoprints installed throughout our beautiful new gallery spaces. A long-time Elora resident and prominent Canadian painter and printmaker, Oxley is known for his distinctive abstract language, where layered marks, luminous colour fields, and intuitive compositions invite slow looking and quiet reflection.

Featuring new, never-before-exhibited pieces, Between Silence and Gesture highlights a compelling evolution in his palette, spatial awareness, and emotional depth. Through abstraction, Oxley reveals how memory, atmosphere, and meaning can be felt without the need for narrative.
