Learn the tools and techniques needed to create a two-colour image through reductive linoblock printmaking with artist Ahmri Vandeborne!
Reductive lino prints are created through a process of designing an image and selectively carving away details to print each new colour layer.Â
Participants will learn to create a design in two parts, carve their lino, and print their piece in layers. Each artist will go home with a unique edition of prints to keep for themselves or to gift away. No previous printmaking experience required.
Please note. There is a $10 kit fee, payable to the instructor in cash at the start of class. All materials included in the kit fee.

Meet Ahmri!
Ahmri Vandeborne (she/her) is an interdisciplinary artist, curious-hearted collaborator, and community facilitator. Her passion for spacemaking is an essential tool in both her personal practice and her work as owner of Otherwise Studios, an inclusive studio space for art-making and community building.
Ahmri believes in the power of art as a vessel for community care and in the importance of accessibility in the arts sector. Her facilitation style is playful, experimentative and encouraging of anyone who wants to explore their creativity. Ahmri holds a BAH with Distinction in Studio Art, with minors in French and Art History from the University of Guelph.
