Elora Adventure Film Festival Speaker Event: Antarctic Expeditions with Scott Kress

In this speaker series event, Scott Kress will talk about his expeditions to Antarctica including the South Pole and Mt. Vinson.

The event is approximately 1 hour, including Q&A.

About the Speaker:

Scott Kress has been exploring and guiding around the world for over 25 years. Scott is the 15th Canadian to climb the 7 summits, the 7th Canadian to ski unsupported and unassisted from the coast of Antarctica to the South Pole, one of only 31 certified Polar Guides in the world, and a fellow of the Royal Canadian Geographic Society.

Having led expeditions in the Himalayas and to the North and South Poles Scott has gained great insights into building high performance teams, how to set and achieve big goals, how to overcome challenge and how to be a great leader.  Years of experience, two undergraduate degrees and a Masters in Leadership and Training provide Scott with unique qualifications to design and deliver some of the most innovative corporate experiential based training available today.  Scott has one goal: to assist teams, leaders, and individuals in reaching their peak performance.  This is accomplished through combining the latest team and leadership theory with cutting edge experiential training to create one of the most effective training and team building programs available today.

Scott has taught leadership and team development for the EMBA and MBA programs at the Rotman School of Management, Odette School of Business, and the University of Edinburgh.
