Our main gallery space
The Minarovich Gallery
The Minarovich Gallery is our main gallery space at the Elora Centre for the Arts. Located in the original stone schoolhouse, this gallery was once part of the former principal’s office and school reception area. The gallery offers exhibitions throughout the year, featuring talented contemporary regional artists. It is also available for private function rentals for those looking for a unique and intimate location for live music, weddings and special events in the heart of downtown Elora, Ontario.
Gallery Exhibition Schedule

‘Quadrant’ Group Exhibition
January 23 – March 9, 2025.
This group of four artists first came together in 2016 through The Clothing Project, an examination of the language and symbolism of clothing. Now eight years later, ‘Quadrant’ creates new opportunities for us to find common ground in contemporary social issues.
While each of the artists occupy a distinct space within this framework, their works resonate and intersect along lines both personal and gender related. Whether reflecting on the female form, addressing climate change and patriarchal practices, or domestic violence against women in Canada, they consider the meanings of authority, safety, protection and their counterparts: powerlessness, uncertainty and danger.

Ignite! art Auction for the Elora Centre for the Arts!
The IGNITE! Art Auction in the gallery runds from March 15 – 22, 2025. The Grand Finale ticketed event is at 7PM on March 22nd.
This extraordinary art auction fundraiser event will feature some of Canada’s finest artists, with a curated collection of works from across Southern Ontario and Centre Wellington. Art Dealer, Advisor and Curator Renann Isaacs is collaborating with the Arts Centre to bring this incredible event to life!
Here’s what you need to know to make sure you don’t miss out on this one-of-a-kind experience and opportunity!

‘Escape’ Transcending Bounds – A yearning for something beyond the ordinary
Presented by the Octarine Women Artists’ Collective, this multi-disciplinary exhibition will run in the gallery from April 3 – May 11, 2025
“Escape” is not necessarily a frivolous pursuit, a luxury to be enjoyed when we have time; instead, it’s a critical and necessary endeavour for our mental and emotional well-being. To escape, both metaphorically and literally, is a way for us to cope with the pressures, constraints, and challenges of life. On a deeper level, the need to escape reflects a desire for freedom, peace, and self-discovery.
