The Minarovich Gallery considers submissions from artists and curators for solo and group exhibitions. Our focus is on emerging and established Canadian artists working in all styles and mediums and across disciplines. As part of our educational mandate, the gallery promotes artist and audience engagement through our artist-in-residence program and welcomes complete or project-based submissions with a studio/teaching component.
The Minarovich Gallery will begin accepting new exhibition proposals in January 2019.

What is showing:
Finding the Nest: Self-Identity and Otherness captures the ambiguous connections between our understanding of oneself and our striving for wider forms of acceptance and recognition. The exhibition features the paintings of Grazyna Adamska and Norman Busse. Exploring the relationship between power and positionality, both artists’ works show an intense commitment to the human form as vehicle for interpretation of self and other within the diversity of contemporary realities.
