Saturday mornings just got wilder! Our ongoing Kids Animal Sketch Series with artist and educator Donna Hull invites young creators to grow their skills week after week. Each session builds on core drawing fundamentals while introducing new creatures, new challenges, and tons of hands‑on practice.
Whether your young artist is new to sketching or ready to level up, nothing beats the thrill of SKETCHING LIVE ANIMALS as they learn, explore, and create!
Each week, Donna will introduce a new small animal guest—giving students a chance to interact, and sketch from life. Such a fun way to build artistic confidence and connect with nature through art!
Drawing skills are woven into each weekly lesson and home play exercises are encouraged! Young artists will work on paper and be introduced to artist quality drawing materials such as graphite, blending sticks, kneadable erasers and more. With over 30 years of experience in the classroom and beyond, Donna brings a wealth of knowledge to this skill-building 5-week course!Â

Donna Hull is a local artist and educator and has enjoyed a long and varied career as both much loved teacher at Elora Public School and artist. Donna loves to draw, paint, build and play!
