Pokemon kids! Join artist Eileen MacArthur for a half-day Sunday workshop celebrating the world of Pokemon! We will be making a Pokemon habitat using a variety of different materials and methods, including drawing, painting and sculpting!
Artists will experiment with how to make existing or invented Pokemon figures and different ways to think about characters and the worlds they inhabit. We will also be learning some drawing techniques to render familiar characters.
This afternoon workshop will include art-making and outdoor play, so come dressed for success!
Please bring along a nut-free snack and drink.
Meet Eileen!
Eileen MacArthur is a practicing artist and arts educator with over 20 years of experience teaching art to adults and children at the Guelph School of Art, Studiohere and the Art Gallery of Guelph. She holds a Master of Fine Art degree from the University of Guelph, and a Bachelor of Fine Art degree from the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design University. Eileen is inspired by watching artist communities evolve and flourish!
