Open Sky Live Music in the Yard – Summer Concert Series

Join us for an evening of Canadiana/Rock/Bluegrass followed by Indie Folk live on the MacDonald Pavilion Stage at the Elora Centre for the Arts, featuring Jakob Pearce and Ben Doerksen (scroll down for bios). This concert is part of a free summer-long concert series happening at the Elora Centre for the Arts on select Thursday nights from 6-9PM.
The ‘Open Sky’ live music series is presented in partnership with our friends at Tribute Homes, Sorbara Group of Companies and Storybrook Homes.
First set: Jakob Pearce (6 – 7:15PM) | Second set: Ben Doerksen (7:45-9PM)
Featured Food Truck: creative sandwiches by Groovy Grilled Cheese starting at 5:30 PM

Jakob Pearce
Jakob Pearce is from Orillia, ON and has been performing his acoustic arrangements of your favourite rock, Canadiana and Americana songs on the “Cottage Country Circuit” for ten years. Jakob’s cover performances are unique in the area, crafted using an original blend of intricate fingerstyle techniques and most recently bluegrass-style flatpicking.
Ben Doerksen
Ben Doerksen is an Elora-based singer-songwriter whose heartfelt acoustic performances blend contemporary folk, roots, and storytelling into an engaging live music experience.
