2-DAY CAMP FOR AGES 5-12
Celebrate O-Canada and jump into July with a 2-day camp where creativity meets the first rays of summer!
This camp invites young artists to explore Canada-inspired craft and forest-themed art. Perfect for kicking off the summer break with imagination, friendship, and a splash of red and white!
Our Summer Camps are designed to inspire 38 young artists each week!
Led by ECFTA Arts Educators and 7 summer student staff, camp will take place in our cheery Art Classroom and sunny Sparrow’s Nest Maker Space.
Camps are a balance of guided-art instruction, open-flow exploration, and outdoor fresh air play!
Come prepared for a great 2 days!
- A mid-morning snack and lunch
- A nut-free afternoon snack will be offered to keep the energy going
- Refillable water bottle
- A spare set of clothes is encouraged for water play on hot days
- Dress for the weather and for art-making!

Meet Judy! Art Instructor
Judy Anderson manages all aspects of Public Programming and Education. From our Young Makers’ art classes, camps, PA Days and school visits for ages 4-17, to creative classes and engaging workshops for Adults. Judy also manages our Outreach Programs that embrace diversity and caring.
Judy is the lead ECFTA Arts Educator and is passionate for creativity in all its forms. Judy studied at Ontario College of Art & Design as and holds a BFA from the University of Guelph. She makes her playful and peculiar brand of art under the name kukucaju.
Meet Leah! Camp Director
Leah Ferguson has been our Camp Director for the past 4 years and delivers leadership and enthusiasm to our Summer Camp program! Leah brings warmth and energy to all she does that the Art Centre!
Leah graduated from Wilfrid Laurier University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree and is currently attending to Teachers’ College at Nipissing University. Leah has a strong passion for working with children and providing an inspiring place to grow and learn. When she is not at the Art Centre, she can be also found teaching at the Elora Cooperative Preschool and tutoring school-aged children.
