5-DAY CAMP FOR AGES 7-12
Welcome to Wildwood Trailblazers, where creativity runs wild and imaginations blaze new trails!
Set deep in the heart of nature, this summer art camp invites young artists to explore the magic of making through paint, collage, assemblage, and more. All inspired by the wonders of the woods!    Â
Our Summer Camps are designed to inspire 38 young artists each week!
Led by ECFTA Arts Educators and 7 summer student staff, camp will take place in our cheery Art Classroom and sunny Sparrow’s Nest Maker Space.
Camps are a balance of guided-art instruction, open-flow exploration, and outdoor fresh air play!
Come prepared for a great week!
- A mid-morning snack and lunch
- A nut-free afternoon snack will be offered to keep the energy going
- Refillable water bottle
- A spare set of clothes is encouraged for water play on hot days
- Dress for the weather and for art-making!

Meet Stephanie! Art Instructor
Stephanie Lines-Toohill brings compassion, creativity, and mindfulness to everything she does and reminds us to pause and find wonder in unexpected places and champions the process of each artist as a curious explorer!
Stephanie runs Sparrow’s Nest Makerspace, a Community Social Enterprise that is located in the Art Centre. The Nest is a collaborative creative space for all ages, where making, mending and inventing know no bounds! You might find her on a forest walk where she finds calming inspiration and beautiful found objects. Stephanie has been leading youth art groups and community art opportunities for over 20 years.
Meet Leah! Camp Director
Leah Ferguson has been our Camp Director for the past 4 years and delivers leadership and enthusiasm to our Summer Camp program! Leah brings warmth and energy to all she does that the Art Centre!
Leah graduated from Wilfrid Laurier University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree and is currently attending to Teachers’ College at Nipissing University. Leah has a strong passion for working with children and providing an inspiring place to grow and learn. When she is not at the Art Centre, she can be also found teaching at the Elora Cooperative Preschool and tutoring school-aged children.
