HI-TEA & TALES IN THE ATRIUM WITH JAN FEDUCK

Join us for a Sunday afternoon Tea Party in our new Atrium space!

Sharing tea together is a tradition that has been practiced worldwide for centuries. Author and tea enthusiast Jan Feduck invites you to high tea and storytelling, steeped in tradition and infused with fun! Jan will serve a High Tea and give a short talk about tea traditions and stories that are part fact, part fiction, but pure fascination. 

This special gathering celebrates the creativity and community that flourishes at the Art Centre, and of course, TEA! All proceeds benefit the Supportive Arts program and the mission to enrich lives through inclusive, accessible programming!

Featuring

  • selection of Jan’s favourite teas, served in her vintage collection of teacups
  • tier of hand-made sweets and savouries
  • captivating stories & conversation
  • tea-inspired artwork from the Supportive Arts Program!

All proceeds benefit the Supportive Arts program and the Art Centre’s mission to enrich lives through inclusive, accessible programming.

Meet Jan!

Elora author and resident Jan Feduck is a food history writer and storyteller who is currently focused on unique teacups and the teas that have brought people together over many centuries. Her book Dining Out With History – At Atlantic Canada’s Historic Sites recently won a Silver at the  Taste Canada Awards.

 

 

WORKSHOP/COURSE CANCELLATION policy

IF YOU CANCEL

Cancellations up to 14 days prior to start date will receive a full refund, less a $25 administrative fee. No refund of fees will apply to cancellations within 14 days of start date. Fees may be applied/credited to an alternate workshop depending on availability.

IF WE CANCEL

To help ensure the course you’re interested in runs, we suggest you register no less than two weeks in advance. In the event of insufficient registrations, ECFTA reserves the right to cancel workshops. You would be eligible for a full refund of fees, or credit for a future workshop, pending availability.
