WEAVING WITH DIANNE KENNEDY CRUTTENDEN

The smooth, flowing nature of circles offer a calming connection to nature.   Join tapestry artist Dianne Kennedy Cruttenden in our bright and cheery workshop classroom for a creative journey into the portals of circle weaving!

“Caim” a Gaelic word that means protective circle, circles are an intrinsic way to live in harmony with the world and contemplate the many cycles that carry us through life; the sun, moon, seasons and the journey of life itself.

Dianne will share with you basic weaving techniques. Everything you will need to create your own 10” hoop ‘Caim’, will be supplied in the kit fee, along with a supply of natural and hand-dyes wools and organic materials. Artists will work towards a completed circle by the end of day! All levels of experience welcome!

Please note, there is a $25 kit fee payable in cash to the instructor at the start of class. All materials included in the kit fee.
