The Sparrow’s Nest is a gently guided inclusive space to inspire connection and creativity.
We believe that a welcoming place away from home and school can grow resourceful and inclusive communities through social connection and creativity. We believe in your kind-hearted Sparrows!
Each week, we use repurposed materials to make and create anything that supports the needs and inspiration of each group. Independent and group art project work can flourish here! No supplies are needed. Home projects/donations of materials are welcomed. Snacks are encouraged for late afternoon hungry bellies. We have Tiger Tea in fancy cups and light snacks for our weekly Sparrow Sofa Chat ~ Caring Check-in.
We understand financial barriers. Please let us know if you need if you need financial assistance for your Sparrow to attend. We will never let finances stop a Sparrow from joining us!

Stephanie Lines-Toohill brings her magical mix of compassion, creativity, and mindfulness to everything she does. She reminds us to pause and find wonder in unexpected places. She helps us let go of our worries and to be brave.
Steph runs Sparrow’s Nest Makerspace, a collaborative community space of connection. You might find her on a forest walk where she finds calming inspiration and beautiful found objects. Stephanie has been leading youth art groups and community art opportunities for over 15 years. She champions the process of each artist as a curious explorer! www.sparrowsnestmakers.ca
