
Kate Ann Vandermeer
Manager, Operations & Development
Kate Ann is responsible for managing, coordinating and strengthening organizational operations and advancing the Centre’s fundraising and development activities. Working closely with the Executive Director and Director of Development, Kate Ann keeps internal systems running smoothly, ensuring effective day-to-day management and coordination of internal systems, financial and human resource processes and stakeholder engagement practices – in order to foster creativity and community through the arts. She plays a key role in building strong relationships with donors, funders, artists, staff, volunteers, and partners, helping to create a welcoming, well-organized, and sustainable organization. Kate Ann thrives in fast-paced, community-driven environments and brings a blend of strategic thinking and hands-on creativity to her work. Her previous roles with Riverfest Elora, ACTRA National, Cahoots Theatre Company, and Canadian Stage have given her extensive experience in administration, event management, budget oversight, fundraising initiatives, and organizational development. Kate Ann holds a BA (Honours) in Theatre & Music from Queen’s University, along with certificates in Non-Profit Management and Fundraising from George Brown College. She is currently pursuing a part-time Human Resource Management Certificate at Fanshawe College. She is passionate about supporting artists and arts organizations and is excited to help advance the Elora Centre for the Arts’ mission and long-term vision.
