Joe Somfay is a retired architect who has played a key role in the growth and care of the Elora Centre for the Arts. During the Centre’s recent expansion, Joe served as client agent, helping to guide the project with expertise, dedication, and a deep respect for the building and its purpose. For the past two years, Joe has also carried out the Centre’s monthly building and fire inspections, providing consistent oversight and ensuring our spaces are safe and well maintained. We are delighted to now formalize Joe’s role as Facilities Manager, where he will oversee the ongoing care of our heritage building and newly expanded spaces, supporting the Arts Centre for years to come.
