Gallery & Artisan Shop Coordinator
Heather is a working artist whose creative practice focuses on pyrography, the art of drawing with fire. Alongside her artistic work, she brings years of professional experience from her career with Pier 1 Imports, where she managed staff teams, developed merchandising strategies, and led training and team-building initiatives. She holds an Art and Art History degree from the University of Toronto and has been an active contributor to the local arts community, volunteering with Local Pieces Gallery in Fergus, the Steampunk Festival, and the Sculpture Project. At the Arts Centre, Heather combines her artistic perspective with her retail expertise in her role as Gallery & Artisan Shop Coordinator, where she oversees product selection, merchandising, visitor engagement, and gallery event support. Her passion for creativity, collaboration, and community connection shapes everything she brings to the team.
