‘Mimosa’ – a curated group exhibition that celebrates women
March 23 to May 12, 2024
The exhibition will run from March 23 to May 12th (Mother’s Day) 2024.
An Opening Reception to meet all the artists will be Sunday March 24th from 2-4pm. Mingle with the artists, be inspired, and enjoy a Mimosa!
Let’s celebrate women in the arts! The female artists who create, the women who inspire artists to create, the women in our community who need inspiration from other creative women!
This curated group exhibition in the gallery at the Elora Centre for the Arts, will feature paintings, photography, mixed media, textiles and sculpture – all in celebration of the female form, positivity, and strength.
Let’s encourage each other through the creative expression of these talented artists!
This exhibition titled “MIMOSA” is a nod to the Mimosa flower that symbolizes female strength, and is also the symbol of Women’s Day. A single flower is lovely on it’s own, but as a group of flowers in a bouquet it is truly stunning!
Thus, the significance of a group show, a collaborative “bouquet” that is meant to fill your soul.
Admission to the gallery is free.
