The exhibition will run from March 21 to May 12th (Mother’s Day) 2024, presented by IMpower Wellness.  An Opening reception event will take place on Sunday March 24th from 2 – 4PM.

Let’s celebrate women in the arts! The female artists who create, the women who inspire artists to create, the women in our community who need inspiration from other creative women!

This curated group exhibition in the gallery at the Elora Centre for the Arts, will feature paintings, photography, mixed media, textiles and sculpture – all in celebration of the female form, positivity, and strength.

This exhibition titled “MIMOSA” is a nod to the Mimosa flower that symbolizes female strength, and is also the symbol of International Women’s Day.  A single flower is lovely on it’s own, but as a group of flowers in a bouquet it is truly stunning (just like women, we are stronger and more beautiful when we stand together).

Thus, the significance of a group show, a collaborative “bouquet” that is meant to fill your soul.

An Opening Reception to meet all the artists will be Sunday March 24th from 2-4pm.  Mingle with the artists, be inspired, and enjoy a mimosa beverage and free sample treatment from the professionals at IMpower Wellness!
