Host Your Event at the Elora Centre for the Arts

Bring your event to life in one of Elora’s most inspiring settings! Our newly expanded and renovated spaces provide a creative backdrop for community events, performances, presentations, meetings, or workshops.

Our facilities are designed for flexibility and flow — sliding doors open or close to create the ideal space for your needs. Whether you’re planning a community event, creative activity, corporate meeting or off-site training, live performance event or family celebration, we have a space to suit your vision.

Available Spaces

The Atrium

Approx. 1,400 sq. ft.
A bright, airy space with soaring beams and beautiful windows, perfect for:

  • Standing-room events or receptions
  • Sit-down performances with a stage
  • Presentations with podium setup
  • Seated dinners or creative gatherings
  • Capacity depends on set up and event details

The Gallery

Approx. 900 sq. ft.
A newly renovated, art-filled space that showcases original exhibitions in a bright, climate-controlled environment. The Gallery can also open into the Atrium for additional capacity and flow between spaces.

The Classroom Workshop

Approx. 850 sq. ft.
An inviting, flexible space designed for hands-on workshops, meetings, or creative sessions, equipped with tables, chairs, and ample natural light.

The MacDonald Pavilion (Outdoor Performance Pavilion)

A covered outdoor stage equipped with power supply and rigging beams for lighting or decorations — ideal for performances, concerts, or community gatherings.

The Grounds

Our 2-acre yard offers open green space, pathways, and picnic areas that can be rented for community events, outdoor activities, or family-friendly celebrations.

Rent our Classroom

Our classroom space is ideal for meetings, training, team building or strategic input sessions!  Sometimes getting “off site” and into a creative space is just what you need to encourage healthy engagement!

Yard & Pavilion Rentals

Yard & Pavilion Rentals

Our 2-acre property in historic Elora is available for rent at the Elora Centre for the Arts

  • Pavilion stage (approx. 26 feet wide x 16 feet deep)
  • Storage closet for event use
  • Removeable side walls (wood slats)
  • Moveable yard fencing, stage risers and event stanchions available
  • Full yard maximum capacity for a performance in the pavilion =  20 – 700 chairs/blankets.
  • Smaller events most welcome!
  • Perfect for all kinds of performances and activities!  Puppet show, storytime, choral singing, acoustic performances, community theatre,
  • This area features and art pathway with sculptures, picnic tables and benches
  • Directly across the street from Bissell Park, on the Grand River

We live and work in a beautiful historic community, and we love our neighbours!  There are some sound guidelines and restrictions in place for anyone booking the pavilion.  We will provide a full Sound Agreement to all users, however please be mindful that events in the pavilion have sound restrictions:

  • Regular “Type 1” performances or events in the pavilion must be in the range of 80-100 DBA (maximum 100 DBA, averaged over several minutes and measured from between 50-100 feet from the stage).  Sound meter tests are required.
  • Performances with little/no amplification are welcome.  This “Type 2” performance or event (if amplified at all) must stay within the range of 60DBA-89DBA (averaged over several minutes and measured from between 50-100 feet from the stage).  Sound meter tests are required.
  • “Type 3” performances or events are limited to 3 per year (events/performances up to 105 DBA) .  Please inquire.  In this case, there are special requirements to notify our neighbours.
  • ECFTA requires that all amplified performances (all 3 Types above) end by 10PM.
