Ever Wonder What An Artist’s Studio Really Looks Like?

Here’s your chance to get a look behind the scenes. Take a self-guided tour and meet artists where they live and work. Thirty two artists and craftspeople will open their studios for two consecutive fall weekends: September 24 & 25 and October 1 & 2, 10am – 5pm. The 2011 Studio Tour is completely free of charge. You’ll get a chance to meet directly with the artists, and often see work not shown in gallery settings. Where to Begin the Studio Tour? We suggest that you begin the Studio Tour at the Elora Centre for the Arts, where a group exhibition of all the Elora-Fergus Studio Tour participants’ work is featured. Available at the Centre: •Maps and directions •Tours of the heritage building •Public washrooms •Free Parking During the tour, the studios will be open from 10 am to 5 pm. Plan your trip! You can easily visit most of the Elora studios on foot. You could visit Elora and Fergus on a bike. Out-of-town studios require a car.
