Join us for our second afternoon in our ‘Vibrant Visions’ speaker series!  Our 5 panelists will discuss and present various angles and viewpoints on Beyond Words: How the Arts Bring Meaning and Connection in Life’s Final Chapter, presented by the Aboyne Rural Hospice and the Elora Centre for the Arts.

Everyone is welcome! Anyone who is curious about the power of the arts in health and wellness will be engaged by this panel discussion. It will be of special interest to families and individuals with lived experience of end-of-life, caregivers, clinicians, and arts and wellness professionals wanting to broaden their understanding about the needs of  end-of-life care and processing grief.

Meet our five panelists –  Dr. Chris Lund (Palliative Physician), Angela Hammond (Palliative Social Worker), Mary Meads (Music Therapist), Stephanie Lines-Toohill (Supportive Arts Facilitator & PSW), Judy Anderson (Artist & Program Director at ECFTA).

All proceeds from this event are directed towards the Aboyne Rural Hospice and the Elora Centre for the Arts capital campaigns.

WORKSHOP/COURSE CANCELLATION policy

IF YOU CANCEL

Cancellations up to 14 days prior to start date will receive a full refund, less a $25 administrative fee. No refund of fees will apply to cancellations within 14 days of start date. Fees may be applied/credited to an alternate workshop depending on availability.

IF WE CANCEL

To help ensure the course you’re interested in runs, we suggest you register no less than two weeks in advance. In the event of insufficient registrations, ECFTA reserves the right to cancel workshops. You would be eligible for a full refund of fees, or credit for a future workshop, pending availability.
