Small HUMANS + Big ART! BIG IDEAS + BIG ART CAMP!  for ages 6-12

Get your creativity growing in this BIG camp week! GENERATE big IDEAS and TRANSFORM them into big idea ART! We’ll be thinking MACRO as we collaborate and create both mighty and micro art using the world around us as inspiration!

Explore the inner workings of plants and everyday materials, peer into the expansive universe around us and create one-of-a-kind pieces that turn the world of the tiny and humungous on their heads!!

Small HUMANS Big ART Camp will be led by an ECFTA Arts Educator with our team of Summer Student leaders! 

This is an indoor-outdoor, get messy day camp, so please come prepared for a great day!

• A healthy mid-morning snack and lunch
• Refillable water bottle
• Dress for the weather each day and for making art
• Sunscreen or hat

About the instructor:

Rachel Abel (they/them)

An artist, trained in Fine Arts from the University of Waterloo, Rachel also holds a Montessori Teachers College diploma and brings a unique artistic appreciation and knowledge to all their teaching. In the past Rachel has worked at the Clay & Glass Gallery as a programmer and teacher and has a passion for the arts and supporting all young artists!

IF YOU CANCEL

Cancellations up to 7 days prior to start date will receive a full refund, less a $25 administrative fee. No refund of fees will apply to cancellations within 7 days of start date (fees may be applied/credited to an alternate workshop depending on availability).

IF WE CANCEL

To help ensure the course you’re interested in runs, we suggest you register no less than two weeks in advance. In the event of insufficient registrations ECFTA reserves the right to cancel workshops. You would be eligible for a full refund of fees, or credit for a future workshop, pending availability.
