Let’s break out of the studio this week and head outdoors for some plein air in the fresh air and learn about some earth-shaking art movements that embrace the environment and the earth beneath our feet!

We’ll explore the tradition of plein air painting in the great outdoors, with a nod to the Group of Seven, and get some green-spiration from the Earth Art and Environmental Art movements.

Our Summer Camps are led by ECFTA Art Educators and our cheery staff of Summer Students. Our Campers will be working in 2 groups in both our studio Art Classroom and sunny Maker Space. The week will be a balance of guided art instruction, open-flow creativity and outdoor fun!

Meet Rae!

Rae Abel (they/them)

An artist, trained in Fine Arts from the University of Waterloo, Rae also holds a Montessori Teachers College diploma. Rae is currently enrolled in the B.Ed program at Laurier and brings a unique artistic appreciation and knowledge to all their teaching. In the past Rae has worked at the Clay & Glass Gallery as a programmer and teacher and has a passion for the arts and supporting all young artists!

IF YOU CANCEL  |  Cancellations up to Friday, May 31, will receive a full refund, less $75 administration fee. After Saturday, June 1, fees are nonrefundable.

IF WE CANCEL  |  In the unlikely event of cancellation, ECFTA will issue a full refund.
