Mayor’s Town Hall & Municipal Parking Strategy Open House

CENTRE WELLINGTON – We have combined two important engagement opportunities for residents into one evening!

Do you want to learn more about the decisions and issues that affect our community? Join Mayor Watters and Township staff for an interactive, casual session about the Township’s priorities and projects followed by a question-and-answer period. The Mayor’s Town Hall will be held outdoors at the new pavilion at the Elora Centre for the Arts. (The event will be moved inside pending weather).

Following the Mayor’s Town Hall, Township staff will host the Municipal Parking Strategy Open House. As a part of our ongoing commitment to creating vibrant, sustainable, and accessible communities, the Township is embarking on the development of a Municipal Parking Strategy.  The Municipal Parking Strategy will be a comprehensive plan that aims to address the parking needs and challenges in our bustling township. With Elora and Fergus becoming an increasingly sought-after destination, the demand for parking has grown, and we recognize the need for a strategic approach to ensure adequate and efficient parking resources. The public is encouraged to attend and provide input on this important initiative.
