Lunch Time Lecture Series: Music – the bridge between science and the heart and how harmony works

MUSIC: THE BRIDGE BETWEEN SCIENCE AND THE HEART  |  HOW HARMONY WORKS

The science of acoustics and the history of thought and feeling in Music in the last 9 Centuries in one easy lesson.  Sounds improbable? Come and see! We will look briefly at a 14th Century mass, a 15th Century mass, music of John Dowland, Pergolesi, Handel, and Wagner.

No experience necessary. Just bring your ears and your heart.

Let local legend, artist, dancer and composer PETER SKOGGARD turn your ear and turn you on to some of his favourite topics during this casual lunchtime lectures in the ELORA CENTRE FOR THE ARTS studio classroom.

Tune up your grey matter and engage with the enigmatic Mr. Skoggard to refresh, relearn or discover something new!

$10 seniors and students
