INside, OUTside, UPside, DOWN! It’s ok to make a mistake! In fact, sometimes it’s the best thing about making art! Innovation requires failure and “mistakes” can be a great starting place, so we’ll HI-5 those artful accidents and embrace randomness in a day filled with thought-provoking projects designed to let loose our inner Picasso’s!

Led by ECFTA Arts Educator Kristine May.

Kristine May has over 20 years experience designing and implementing expressive art workshops, classes and educational art programs within galleries, art centres, community outreach and both the public & private school system, Kris is dedicated to exploring the link between the arts and wellbeing; committed to inspiring others through creative outlets.  Her goal is to promote the benefits of creative expression and provide opportunities for all individuals to tap into their own innate creativity, where they are free to explore and expand their creative pursuits and potential. Kristine has an Honours Degree in Visual Arts from U.W.O. and completed her Masters level training in Art Therapy.

To ensure that your child is ready for a full day of art making and fun:

• A healthy mid-morning snack and lunch
• Refillable water bottle
• Dress for the weather each day and for getting messy
• Masking is not required and is left to your discretion.
• We ask that you follow UGDSB pre-screening best practices. If your child has a new or worsening symptom, please use your best judgement.

IF YOU CANCEL

Cancellations up to 7 days prior to start date will receive a full refund less a $25 administrative fee. No refund of fees will apply to cancellations within 7 days of start date (fees may however be applied/ credited to an alternate course/ workshop).

IF WE CANCEL

To help ensure the course you’re interested in runs, we suggest you register no less than two weeks in advance.  In the event of insufficient registrations ECFTA reserves the right to cancel courses/ workshops, & you would be eligible for a full refund of fees, or credit can be applied to a future course/ workshop, pending availability.
