Eva Lane

Board Member

Eva Lane is an employment law and civil litigation lawyer with a practice in Elora primarily advising employers on a broad range of employment and human rights matters, including employment contracts, terminations, wrongful dismissal claims, policies, human rights claims and other issues. Eva received her B.A. from Mount Allison University and her M.A. in English Literature from McMaster University. Eventually, after working briefly in publishing and in event planning, Eva made her way to law school and obtained a J.D. from the University of Ottawa. Eva has always been passionate about the arts and the richness they bring to everyday life. She loves how the arts, and the Elora Centre for the Arts in particular, bring a community together. Eva is pleased to contribute her legal knowledge and practical mindset to the Board. Eva currently resides in Fergus with her husband, son and daughter. She can often be found in her garden or hiking on local trails with her family, or curled up with a good book. She plays soccer all year long and spends her winter evenings curling.
