Anne Stubington

Board Member

Anne has more than 35 years of international expertise in the field of corporate event management. Her career is distinguished by a varied background in event marketing, technical production, tradeshow management, and experiential marketing. Anne’s accomplishments include developing the brand events team at BlackBerry and creating. a global event sponsorship program for an international energy organization. Anne was a Sessional Instructor at Seneca Polytechnic in the Event and Media Program from 2012 to 2016 teaching Live Event Production and Project Planning. She founded Riverbank Events in 2015 and continues to work with a variety of clients in Technology, Food Service, Financial Services and Pharma. Over the years Anne has contributed to a variety of initiatives, including being on the founding Board of Directors for Sensational Elora, a local arts organization, from 2007 to 2012. She was member of the Fundraising Committee for the 2012 local Habitat for Humanity build of a two family home in Fergus. Anne has also served on the PFAC (Patient Family Advisory Council) at Groves Memorial from 2022 – 2025. Additionally, she has provided guidance to the next generation of media professionals by serving on the Program Advisory Board for the Media Program at Seneca Polytechnic from 2014 to 2018. Anne has called Elora home for over three decades, and loved raising her family in this vibrant community. Her family has shared many memorable experiences at the Elora Centre for the Arts whether taking classes, attending events or browsing the gallery, reflecting Anne’s appreciation for arts, culture and community.
