DESCRIPTION:Romeo & Juliet will be performed on the pavilion stage in the yard this summer –  with evening and daytime performances from  Friday July 17 – Sunday July 26\, 2025\, presented by The Elora Community Theatre.  Scroll down to view dates\, times and purchase your tickets now!  Adult and youth tickets available. \n \nAbout Romeo & Juliet \nWilliam Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet is a tragic tale of two star-crossed young teenagers from Verona whose passionate love for each other defies the long-standing blood feud between their families\, the Montagues and the Capulets. Their quick\, secret marriage leads to a series of misunderstandings and untimely deaths\, culminating in a tragic double suicide that finally compels the families to reconcile. \nApproximate running time (including intermission) 90 minutes. \nTicket Information: \nAdult tickets: $25 ($22.12 + HST) \nYouth 12 and under: $15 (no tax) \nEvening Performances: begin at 7:30PM (arrive a bit earlier to set up your chair!) \nMatinee Performances: begin at 2PM (arrive a bit earlier to set up your chair!) \nTickets can be purchased in advance until 9PM the day before the performance: visa or mastercard only (no debit). DESCRIPTION:SEPTEMBER – JUNE. \nEVERY 1ST + 3RD TUESDAY \n3-HOUR SELF-GUIDED SESSIONS WITH LIVE MODEL \nJoin us\,  the first and third Tuesday of each month for self-directed life drawing centered on creative flow\, shared space\, and working from the human form. This is a welcoming evening designed to support both personal practice and community connection. Come draw\, paint and reconnect with your practice alongside fellow artists! \n \n\nDraw from a professional nude model through a series of varying timed poses\, moving between quick\, energetic gestures and longer\, more contemplative holds.  \nThere is no formal instruction. Artists are free to work independently\, follow their own practice\, and use the materials and approach that suit them best. The atmosphere is respectful\, calm\, and centered on observation and creative focus. \nClasses will take place in the Atrium. IExplore how colour\, texture\, and light come together inside the kiln to form vibrant\, one‑of‑a‑kind glass pieces perfect for gifting or decorating your home! \n \nSteph will introduce you to essential fused‑glass techniques in a relaxed environment designed for beginners and returning students alike. With step‑by‑step guidance\, you’ll learn how to: \n\n\nSelect and safely cut glass \n\n\nLayer transparent and opaque pieces for depth and dimension \n\n\nIncorporate decorative elements to enhance your design \n\n\nUnderstand how materials transform during firing \n\n\nChoose from one of Steph’s original ornament templates or bring your own idea to translate into glass. You’ll have access to a beautiful range of colours and materials as you experiment\, build confidence\, and craft a unique ornament ready for the kiln. \nLeave the workshop with fused‑glass holiday ornaments\, ready to be kiln-fired at Steph’s studio. Work will be returned to the Art Centre within 2 weeks. Participants will be emailed when work is ready for pick up. \n\n  \nFused glass is a labor-intensive process to prepare\, with a higher material cost.  \nPlease note\, there is a $30 kit fee payable to the instructor in cash or transfer at the start of class.  \nAll tools and materials will be provided in the kit fee.
