Just bring YOU and any projects you’re working on\, non-digital games\, homework\, water bottle and snack if you wish. Let your curious ART MAKERS loose this March Break during our multi-media-mash-up week! \nDesign and build a cardboard town full of surprises; explore the art of chocolate making; try your hand at kiln-fired clay building; create a no-sew reusable T shirt tote bags; plan for some paper folding fun; try out some big brushes on our shared paint-wall; get creative using words from other cultures; and lots of fresh air play outdoors! While we make plans\, we will also practice adaptation\, when materials or challenges we encounter guide us in other directions. Outside of her teaching profession\, she loves to create\, write\, network and socialize and is always working on new projects from refinishing furniture\, creating wire wrapped jewellery\, illustrating for web and print design\, and continues to do consulting work and freelance in Graphic Design\, illustration\, Marketing and New Ventures consulting. Carolyn comes by her love of all things artistic quite honestly.

DESCRIPTION:SOLD OUT! \nAges 4-6 \nMax 12 \n$185/week \n(a 10% discount will be applied at checkout for ECFTA Members) \nJoin us for a week of playful creativity under our big top canopy tent and the big blue sky! Each morning will be filled with nature-inspired creativity\, outdoor art & craft making under our 1500 sq. ft. canopy\, new friends and lots of free-range play perfect for a hot July week! \nMaker Mornings! is led by ECFTA Arts Educators\, Judy Anderson (Mon\, Wed\, Fri) and Sparrows Nest’s Stephanie Lines-Toohill (Tues\, Thurs)\, along with the help of our Summer Student leader. \n \n\nPlease bring a healthy snack and refillable water bottle.\nDress for the weather each day and for getting messy!\nAll materials provided.\nStudents will be safely distanced at 6 feet apart at work stations under our open-air canopy.\nMasks are required for using the indoor washrooms (and if Public Health requires outdoor masking when 6 feet is not possible).\nTemperatures will be taken daily.\n\nTo ensure the health and safety of staff and participants\, the ECFTA will have a limited number of children registered in accordance with Wellington Dufferin Public Health recommendations. Daily cleaning and social distancing will be in place to ensure that campers have a safe and enjoyable camp experience. \nIf classes are cancelled for any reason due to public health concerns\, refunds will be given in full. \nPlease note: Parents/guardians will be asked to fill out a Release Waiver for a daily walk to Bissell Park and a Covid Liability Waiver. \n**One Complimentary Camp spot is available for a family in need.
