Eileen is inspired by watching artist communities evolve and flourish! Steph also runs Sparrow’s Nest Makerspace\, a collaborative community space of connection. You might find her on a forest walk where she finds calming inspiration and beautiful found objects. Stephanie has been leading youth art groups and community art opportunities for over 15 years. She champions the process of each artist as a curious explorer!

Such a fun way to build artistic confidence and connect with nature through art! \nDrawing skills are woven into each weekly lesson and home play exercises are encouraged! DESCRIPTION:eileenCelebrate Family Day weekend with artist Eileen MacArthur for a lively half-day Sunday workshop that blends creativity\, technique and artistic expression with a splash of Canadian art history\, inspired by the work of Group of Seven legend Tom T! \n \nYoung artists will be complete a medium sized painting using acrylic paint on canvas and explore how to make marks\, how to mix colours\, and experiment different brushes. Please send along a snack\, water bottle and dress for messy painting! We will be spending some time outside to play and observe nature. \n \nAll materials included. \nThe afternoon will include an outside break. Please dress for winter play! \n \nPlease bring along a nut-free afternoon snack and drink.
