SUMMARY:POP UP BOOKS! STORYBOOK ART CAMP
DESCRIPTION:4-DAY CAMP FOR AGES 4-7 \nJunior artists! Turn your fave book into a power pop-up 3-D Diorama Story Box. We will start each morning with a story and then get to work exploring visual story-making and transform our own favourite stories from home into sculptural ART! \n \nPlease bring your favourite storybook from home\, with your child’s name. We will be reading these stories and using them as inspiration for our art-making! Books will be returned home at the end of the week. \n\nOur Summer Camps are designed to inspire 36 young artists each week! Led by ECFTA Arts Educators and 7 summer student staff\, camp will take place in our cheery Art Classroom and sunny Sparrow’s Nest Maker Space. \nCamps are a balance of guided-art instruction and open-flow exploration\, along with outdoor fresh air play as always! \n\nCome prepared for a great week! \n\nA mid-morning snack and lunch\nA nut-free afternoon snack will be offered to keep the energy going\nRefillable water bottle\nA spare set of clothes is encouraged for the week\nDress for the weather and for art-making\nBring your child’s favourite book for inspiration!\n\nPlease contact us with any questions or concerns.
