SUMMARY:ART THEN+NOW! MINI MASTERS CAMP
DESCRIPTION:5-DAY CAMP FOR AGES 7-12 \nLet’s time-jump into the art time machine and look at Art THEN + NOW! This camp is full-on art making\, trying out new materials\, and exploring the connections between art today and art of the past! \n \nWe’ll think about what it means to always be in the “middle” of art-history as we simultaneously look backward and forward. Together\, we’ll imagine what art of the future will look like! \n\nOur Summer Camps are designed to inspire 36 young artists each week! Led by ECFTA Arts Educators and 7 summer student staff\, camp will take place in our cheery Art Classroom and sunny Sparrow’s Nest Maker Space. \nCamps are a balance of guided-art instruction and open-flow exploration\, along with outdoor fresh air play as always! \n\nCome prepared for a great week! \n\nA mid-morning snack and lunch\nA nut-free afternoon snack will be offered to keep the energy going\nRefillable water bottle\nA spare set of clothes is encouraged for the week\nDress for the weather and for art-making!\n\nPlease contact us with any questions or concerns.
