DESCRIPTION:We welcome SCHOOL FIELD TRIPS for Grades K-12! \nMorning or afternoon sessions designed to inspire creativity and connect learning with the arts. Experience the power of Art in our art classroom and newly expanded Gallery + Atrium at the Elora Centre for the Arts. \n \nAt the Elora Centre for the Arts\, we offer a balance of discussion\, exploration\, and hands-on art-making that supports learning and sparks imagination. Programs are tailored to complement the current exhibition themes in our gallery. Students will encounter fresh ideas and artwork throughout the school year\, September to June. \n  \n\n\n2–2.5 hour sessions\nAn interactive learning experience led by an ECFTA Artist-Educator\nVisit the current exhibition in our main gallery and learn something new about the creative process.\nCreate a hands-on art project in our art classroom\, connecting students to learning and the exhibition\nWe can accommodate up to 2 rotating classes per visit (dependent on class size)\n$10 per student\n\n  \nBook your school visit today and give your students the gift of creativity\, discovery and inspiration at the Art Centre! \n\n  \nFor more information or to book\, please contact Judy

Whether your artist is new to drawing\, or eager to build upon their skills\, there is no better way than SKETCHING LIVE ANIMALS! \n \nEach week\, Donna will introduce a new small animal guest—giving students a chance to interact\, and sketch from life. Such a fun way to build artistic confidence and connect with nature through art! \nDrawing skills are woven into each weekly lesson and home play exercises are encouraged! Young artists will work on paper and be introduced to artist quality drawing materials such as graphite\, blending sticks\, kneadable erasers and more. Each day will be bursting with games\, stories\, and hands-on creativity that celebrates the WILD wonders and beauty of our home—CANADA! \n \nWILD CANADA is all about letting your imagination run free! \nLed by our team of talented Arts Educators\, campers will paint like art-icon Tom Thomson and Canadian artist Kim Dorland\, make Canadian-inspired mixed media masterpieces\, create their own nature journals\, AND there are always time to make some new friends along the way! \n\n  \nCamp week is designed to inspire 36 young artists\, ages 5-12!  Led by ECFTA Arts Educators\, we will spend the week in our cheery Art Classroom and Sparrow’s Nest Maker Space. A fun-filled half-day exploring art\, crafts\, stories and art history from Easter traditions around the world! \n \n \nLed by artist and Arts educator Eileen MacArthur\, this afternoon promises a joyful mix of hands-on creativity and cultural exploration. Artist will get busy with a variety of materials including felt flowers\, spring inspired paintings\, paper collage and decorated eggs. \nThe afternoon will include an outside play break to enjoy the signs of spring!  \nAll  materials included. \n \nPlease bring along a nut-free snack and drink.
