DESCRIPTION:We welcome SCHOOL FIELD TRIPS for Grades K-12! \nMorning or afternoon sessions designed to inspire creativity and connect learning with the arts. Experience the power of Art in our art classroom and newly expanded Gallery + Atrium at the Elora Centre for the Arts. \n \nAt the Elora Centre for the Arts\, we offer a balance of discussion\, exploration\, and hands-on art-making that supports learning and sparks imagination. Programs are tailored to complement the current exhibition themes in our gallery. Students will encounter fresh ideas and artwork throughout the school year\, September to June. \n  \n\n\n2–2.5 hour sessions\nAn interactive learning experience led by an ECFTA Artist-Educator\nVisit the current exhibition in our main gallery and learn something new about the creative process.\nCreate a hands-on art project in our art classroom\, connecting students to learning and the exhibition\nWe can accommodate up to 2 rotating classes per visit (dependent on class size)\n$10 per student\n\n  \nBook your school visit today and give your students the gift of creativity\, discovery and inspiration at the Art Centre! \n\n  \nFor more information or to book\, please contact Judy

Are you ready to create and craft your way through a PA day of creepy creativity? \nJoin artists Eileen MacArthur and Stephanie Lines-Toohill for a Friday bursting with hauntingly hilarious fun\, both indoors and out! \nOur PA Days are designed to inspire 36 young artists through a full-day of creativity and exploration! \nLed by ECFTA Arts Educators and student staff\, we will work in 2 groups in both our cheery Art Classroom and sunny Sparrow’s Nest Maker Space. With over 30 years of experience in the classroom and beyond\, Donna brings a wealth of knowledge to this engaging 6-week series! \n \nDrawing skills are woven into each weekly lesson and home play exercises are encouraged! Young artists will work on paper and be introduced to artist quality drawing materials such as graphite sticks\, blending sticks\, kneadable erasers and more. \nThis 6-week series is all about drawing and will focus on natural\, organic shapes during weeks 1-5 and finish and a naturalistic animal portrait week 6! \nAll materials included.  Contact us for more info.
