DESCRIPTION:5-DAY CAMP FOR AGES 7-12 \nReady for a week of avant-garde awesomeness? This kinetic camp will introduce young artists to American Modernist\, Alexander Calder’s 1931 Cirque! A moveable feast of characters\, contortionists\, fire eaters\, hi-wire performers and circus animals. We will spend the week creating our own kinetic circus fun! \n \n\nOur Summer Camps are designed to inspire 36 young artists each week! Led by ECFTA Arts Educators and 7 summer student staff\, camp will take place in our cheery Art Classroom and sunny Sparrow’s Nest Maker Space. \nCamps are a balance of guided-art instruction and open-flow exploration\, along with outdoor fresh air play as always! \n\nCome prepared for a great week! \n\nA mid-morning snack and lunch\nA nut-free afternoon snack will be offered to keep the energy going\nRefillable water bottle\nA spare set of clothes is encouraged for the week\nDress for the weather and for art-making!\n\nPlease contact us with any questions or concerns. \n
