SUMMARY:January PD Day:  DESIGN + BUILD Paper Architecture
DESCRIPTION:FRIDAY\, JANUARY 28\, 2022 (cancelled)  \nAges 6-11 \n$60 per student \nPlease note: This PD Day camp has been cancelled due to the lockdown. \n12 students maximum \nOur first PD day of the year will find us exploring ways to turn 2-D designs into intuitive 3-D builds!  \nUsing cardboard\, paper and paint\, young designers will draw plans and make buildings that form a miniature town full of surprises! \nWe will look at scale\, function\, landscaping… anything you think your town needs. While we make plans\, we will also practice adaptation\, when materials or challenges we encounter guide us in other directions. Bring your BIG IDEAS and IMAGINATION! \n Led by ECFTA Arts Educator Eekta Trienekens \nImportant Details: \n\nPlease note that capacity for this PD is limited in order to maintain distancing within our classroom.\nPlease bring a healthy snack\, lunch and refillable water bottle.\nDress for the weather and for getting messy!\nAll materials provided.\nMasks are required.\nTemperatures will be taken.\n\nHealth & Safety: \nTo ensure the health and safety of staff and participants\, the ECFTA will have a limited the number of registrants in accordance with WDGPH recommendations. Daily cleaning\, social distancing and masking will be in place to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience. Please note that masks will be required to be worn by children during the workshop. Parents will be asked to complete a COVID-19 Liability Waiver at sign in. \nIf classes are cancelled for any reason due to Public Health concerns\, refunds will be given in full. \nPlease contact programming@ecfta.ca for more information. \n\nAbout the Instructor: \nEekta Trienekens loves to combine art and play and usually has her hands in clay\, but she also loves painting and fibre arts.
