DESCRIPTION:Beyond the STRATOSPHERE! | TECH+ART Camp \nMonday\, July 15 – Friday\, July 19\, 2024  \n9 am to 4 pm   \nAges 5-12  |  Max 36  |  $350 no hst  \nCampers! Let your  imagination go sky-high in this hi-octane art power pack week of science and art! Design and build your own model rocket throughout the week and turn them into kinetic flying works of art.  \nOn Friday\, we’ll make sparks fly and launch our rockets into the sky for a ka-pow display of our creative genius! We will explore new worlds where young artists have never gone before! \n \nOur Summer Camps are led by ECFTA Art Educators and our cheery staff of Summer Students. Our Campers will be working in 2 groups in both our studio Art Classroom and sunny Maker Space. The week will be a balance of guided art instruction\, open-flow creativity and outdoor fun! \nMeet Rae! \nRae Abel (they/them) \nAn artist\, trained in Fine Arts from the University of Waterloo\, Rae also holds a Montessori Teachers College diploma. Rae is currently enrolled in the B.Ed program at Laurier and brings a unique artistic appreciation and knowledge to all their teaching.
