DESCRIPTION:WEDNESDAY WINTER 2024 CLASSES  |  10-week series \nWEDNESDAY mornings  |  January 3  – March 6\, 2024  | 10:00 am-12:00 pm \nWeekly inclusive ART & mindfulness WEDNESDAY WORKSHOPS for adults with (dis)abilities. \nsold out\n \nSUPPORTIVE ARTS is a unique program offering arts-based learning opportunities and compelling artistic experiences to individuals with varying abilities. We welcome adults and caregivers from Wellington County and the surrounding areas to our weekly program\, led by ECFTA Arts Educators and Mindfulness Coach. \nJoin us for a guided 2-hour workshop\, specifically designed to support adults of all abilities. Each session\, we will embrace diversity and friendship through explorations in art making\, movement\, mindfulness and music. Every week is as unique as each of our participants!  Supportive Arts is offered at a subsidized rate\, thanks to the Centre Wellington 100 Women Who Care and our Spring Fundraising Gala! \nMax. 13  |  Ages 18+ \n$180 plus HST for all 10 weeks  \nParticipants please register for the full season block. \nNo charge for support workers or caregivers. \n**Please note\, there is no refund for missed classes. DESCRIPTION:MIXED-MEDIA ADVENTURES FOR KIDS!  \nwith Emmi Boyle  |  4-week Media Collage Series \nSaturdays  |  February 3\, 10\, 17\, 24\, 2024 \n9:30 – 11:30 am   \nAges 6-12  |  Max 12 \n$110 for all 4 weeks\, no hst \nGuelph artist EMMI BOYLE brings her love for mixing-it-up with materials and hi-5 kid-energy to the Elora Centre for the Arts this winter for 6 weeks of massive imagin-ating in our MIXED MEDIA ADVENTURE collage series! \nLet your junior artist loose with Emmi to explore animal collage\, printed fabric\, cardboard cities\, and printed fabric star garland! \nAll materials provided. \nMeet Emmi! \n \nEmmi Boyle (She/They) \nEmmi is a recent graduate from the University of Guelph\, studying Studio Art and Ecology. She has experimented with many mediums of art and is constantly trying new things. Some mediums they have grown especially fond of include textiles\, print making\, bookbinding\, and experimental media. While Emmi is a creative\, their heart belongs to the Earth. She spends a lot of time outside connecting with nature and drawing inspiration from all around. She loves to learn from both nature and others\, and enjoys sharing her knowledge with others as well. Guelph has been their home for many years\, and they have been working with and teaching youth in the city for 8 years. \n  \n \n  \nIF YOU CANCEL \nCancellations up to 14 days prior to start date will receive a full refund\, less a $25 administrative fee. No refund of fees will apply to cancellations within 14 days of start date. Fees may be applied/credited to an alternate workshop depending on availability. \nIF WE CANCEL \nTo help ensure the course you’re interested in runs\, we suggest you register no less than two weeks in advance. In the event of insufficient registrations ECFTA reserves the right to cancel workshops. You would be eligible for a full refund of fees\, or credit for a future workshop\, pending availability.
