SUMMARY:Welcome to the Elora Nature Journaling for homeschooling families!
DESCRIPTION:Tuesdays\, September 13 – December 6\, 2022 | 10 am – 12 pm \nAges 6-10 \n$35 for all 7 weeks \nWelcome to the Elora Nature Journaling group for homeschooling families! \nThis is a registration required\, in person group which meets bi-weekly at the Elora Centre for the Arts\, open to homeschooling students between the ages of 6 and 10 who reside in Wellington County and are currently participating in any style of homeschooling. \nPlease contact Lauren at Eloranaturejournaling@gmail.com to register or for more information. \n \nThe first meeting will be Tuesday\, September 13th 2022 at 10 AM-12 PM. There will be a total of 7 sessions\, running until Tuesday\, December 6th\, 2022. \nThis is not a drop off program. One parent or guardian must attend for each participating family. Accompanying adults are encouraged to bring their own journal and participate alongside their registered student(s). \nThe cost per session is $5 a child.  The total fee per child of $35 can be paid upon registration\, or payment options can be discussed privately upon registration. The fee will go towards covering the cost of the room rental and the use of basic art supplies. \nSuggested supplies for participants to bring include: \n\na watercolour safe journal\nany favourite watercolour painting supplies from home\nrefillable water bottle\nnut-free snack\nweather appropriate clothing for time outdoors\n\nStudent grade watercolours and art supplies will be made available in the class. \nNature journals can be made available at the first class for an additional fee. \nPlease contact Lauren at Eloranaturejournaling@gmail.com to register or for more information.

DESCRIPTION:Monday\, October 24\, 2022 | 9 am – 4 pm \nAges 6-12 \nMax 15 \n$65 no hst \nsold out\n*Please note that this UGDSB PA Day is scheduled for a MONDAY. \nMONSTER MashUP! \nLet’s mix up our mythic monsters and use our limitless imaginations to create our own unique monster to rival the classics! Franken-fluffer-Nutter? The Were-Bunny? A Drac-Wurst? TikTok the Evil Clock? It will be a cheerfully-chilling day at the Art Centre and we can’t wait! \n  \n \nLed by ECFTA Arts Educator Kristine May. \nKristine May has over 20 years experience designing and implementing expressive art workshops\, classes and educational art programs within galleries\, art centres\, community outreach and both the public & private school system\, Kris is dedicated to exploring the link between the arts and wellbeing; committed to inspiring others through creative outlets.  Her goal is to promote the benefits of creative expression and provide opportunities for all individuals to tap into their own innate creativity\, where they are free to explore and expand their creative pursuits and potential. Kristine has an Honours Degree in Visual Arts from U.W.O. and completed her Masters level training in Art Therapy (TATI) \n  \nTo ensure that your child is ready for a full day of art making and fun: \n\nA healthy mid-morning snack and lunch\nRefillable water bottle\nDress for the weather each day and for getting messy\nMasking is not required and is left to your discretion.\nWe ask that you follow UGDSB pre-screening best practices. If your child has a new or worsening symptom\, please use your best judgement.\n\n\nIF YOU CANCEL \nCancellations up to 7 days prior to start date will receive a full refund less a $25 administrative fee. No refund of fees will apply to cancellations within 7 days of start date (fees may however be applied/ credited to an alternate course/ workshop). \nIF WE CANCEL \nTo help ensure the course you’re interested in runs\, we suggest you register no less than two weeks in advance.  In the event of insufficient registrations ECFTA reserves the right to cancel courses/ workshops\, & you would be eligible for a full refund of fees\, or credit can be applied to a future course/ workshop\, pending availability.
