DESCRIPTION:BIRDS OF A FEATHER!  |  5 DAY SUMMER CAMP \nAUGUST 8-12\, 2022   |  9AM – 4PM \nAGES 7-12  |  MAX 18 campers \n$300 PER STUDENT (no HST) \nsold out\nBirds of a Feather! Let’s flock together this August for a week of avian-inspired-projects in our sunny studio classroom and free range outdoor play! \nWe will fluff our friendship feathers and sharpen our art-making talons as we explore the aerial world of all things feathered and plumed. \nProjects will include songbird marionettes\, owl pastel\, feather calligraphy pens\, paper feather lanterns\, crane sculpture and more! \nLet’s wing it together and soar! \n \nLed by artist and educator Carolyn McLeod of Creative Spark Workshops in Guelph with the support of student leaders from the Canada Summer Jobs Youth Program. \nThis is an indoor-outdoor\, get messy day camp\, so  come prepared for a great day! \n\nDress for the mess and for the weather\nSunscreen or a hat\nRefillable water bottle\nA mid-morning snack and healthy lunch\n\nCarolyn McLeod is a graphic design professional\, illustrator\, fine artist and college instructor. Carolyn has applied her skills in both traditional art and in digital form for over 20 years. Carolyn runs Creative Spark Workshops in Guelph and loves getting creative with kids!  Carolyn is also a part-time instructor at Conestoga College teaching in the areas of Marketing\, Advertising\, Public Relations\, Internet Marketing\, Social Media Marketing and New Business Ventures. Outside of her teaching profession\, she loves to create\, write\, network and socialize and is always working on new projects from refinishing furniture\, creating wire wrapped jewellery\, illustrating for web and print design\, and continues to do consulting work and freelance in Graphic Design\, illustration\, Marketing and New Ventures consulting.
