You just have to be SUPER! Join artist and illustrator Katherine Olenic for a week of animating your way to becoming a comic genius! \nDesign your own characters for action\, fantasy or super high tech adventures\, learn to plan a story\, create fantastical landscapes\, build action hero puppets and create your own comic.  \nKa-POW! \nLed by artist and illustrator Katherine Olenic with the support of our summer student leaders. \nThis is an indoor outdoor cat messy day camp come prepared for a great day! \n\nDress for the mess and for the weather\nSunscreen or a hat\nRefillable water bottle\nA mid morning snack and healthy lunch\n\nAbout the Instructor \nKatherine Olenic is a digital artist who has been drawing her whole life. She creates fantasy illustrations with vibrant colors and with a sense of wonder and imagination. Kathryn has been a freelance artist since 2015. DESCRIPTION:Tuesdays\, September 13 – December 6\, 2022 | 10 am – 12 pm \nAges 6-10 \n$35 for all 7 weeks \nWelcome to the Elora Nature Journaling group for homeschooling families! \nThis is a registration required\, in person group which meets bi-weekly at the Elora Centre for the Arts\, open to homeschooling students between the ages of 6 and 10 who reside in Wellington County and are currently participating in any style of homeschooling. \nPlease contact Lauren at Eloranaturejournaling@gmail.com to register or for more information. \n \nThe first meeting will be Tuesday\, September 13th 2022 at 10 AM-12 PM. There will be a total of 7 sessions\, running until Tuesday\, December 6th\, 2022. \nThis is not a drop off program. One parent or guardian must attend for each participating family. Accompanying adults are encouraged to bring their own journal and participate alongside their registered student(s). \nThe cost per session is $5 a child.  The total fee per child of $35 can be paid upon registration\, or payment options can be discussed privately upon registration. The fee will go towards covering the cost of the room rental and the use of basic art supplies. \nSuggested supplies for participants to bring include: \n\na watercolour safe journal\nany favourite watercolour painting supplies from home\nrefillable water bottle\nnut-free snack\nweather appropriate clothing for time outdoors\n\nStudent grade watercolours and art supplies will be made available in the class. \nNature journals can be made available at the first class for an additional fee. \nPlease contact Lauren at Eloranaturejournaling@gmail.com to register or for more information.
