DESCRIPTION:SOLD OUT! \nPD DAY JUNE | MORE BEES PLEASE! \nFRIDAY\, JUNE 3\, 2022  from 9AM – 4 PM \nAGES 4-11  | Max 15 campers \n$60 per student (no HST) \nJoin us for the last PD day of the year for an in-&-out-door day of art-making and fun our cheery studio classroom and sunny ECFTA yard! \nThis will be a day full of creativity and learning inspired by the friendly world of entomology and ornithology. \nMake a bee house\, explore the difference between bugs and insects\, make a bug telescope and go on a search for the many legged creatures living outside! \n  \nThis PD Camp will be led by an ECFTA Art Educator. \nHealth & Safety \nTo ensure the health and safety of staff and participants\, daily cleaning and masking will be in place to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience. DESCRIPTION:STORYTELLING WORKSHOP IN THE GALLERY \nMAX. 40 people \nALL AGES \n$35 + HST \nDespite what you may have heard\, it is actually stories that make the world go round! \nWe’ve been telling stories for as long as we’ve been doing anything. in fact\, you could say Storytelling is what makes us human. Whether it is by a bedside\, around a table\, behind a lectern or from a stage\, it’s what we do\, it’s who we are\, it’s all we are. The stories we tell become our stories\, and our stories become the currency with which we connect\, commune and collaborate. \n \nJoin Storyteller Brad Woods for a workshop that is equal parts lecture\, conversation\, and performance. \nCome prepared to discover and discuss the power\, the beauty and the art of a story well told. He tells traditional tales\, literary classics and personal stories. His stories have been featured in a variety of broadcasts and publications including CBC Radio 1\, the Globe and Mail and Canadian Running Magazine. Brad has told to all ages and in every type of venue imaginable. An orange is an orange is an orange…. or is it? Explore the hidden colours of the simplest of objects and see how colour does other things than merely depict colour. \nLIGHT …and shade. Find the hidden light in the shadows. Explore the dark side of the moon! And consider the world of reflective light. What did the Impressionists see in the shadows? \nLINE. At once the simplest and most elusive of artistic applications. Are there really any lines in life? DESCRIPTION:Tuesdays 3:30 – 5:30 PM   |  May 17 – June 21\, 2022 \nTHE NEST! TUESDAY AFTER-SCHOOL DROP-IN SPACE : for ages 10 and up \nSESSION TWO (6 weeks) \nMax 15 students per session  |  $30 for 6 week session \nDROP INTO THE NEST! \nA space to relax and create in our sunny studio at the Elora Centre for the Arts! Just bring YOU and any projects you’re working on\, non-digital games\, homework\, water bottle and snack if you wish.
